We’re excited to officially share that Summit Valley United is now a member of both Virginia Youth Soccer and the West Virginia Soccer Association.

As a club based in the Winchester, VA region, this was a natural and strategic step. Our players and families come from both sides of the state line, and joining both associations allows us to properly serve the communities where we live, train, and compete. It gives players across the region a legitimate opportunity to join the Summit Valley United Academy without limitations.
This move strengthens our long-term vision: creating a true pathway for players.
From competitive travel teams, through high school development, into college opportunities, and ultimately into adult competition with our WPL and UPSL teams.
We are building something structured and intentional; a clear progression from youth travel soccer all the way to adult leagues such as the Washington Premier League (WPL) and the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL).
With this foundation now in place, we are ready to move forward with travel teams for Fall 2026.
We experienced a couple of scheduling issues with recent tryouts, but those are being resolved. We will be rescheduling Virginia tryouts and launching West Virginia tryouts shortly. More details will be announced soon.
Stay tuned as we move into this next phase.
Exciting times ahead for Summit Valley United and Summit Valley United Academy.
